News about the upcoming competitive multiplayer city-builder Zero Sum Future

To begin better communicating our progress, especially as we go into early access, we’re going to start posting Development Updates once every week or two.

Over the past week or so, our team has been focusing mostly on quality of life and some visual changes. Full list:

  • Added Atomic Bloom (see the blog for more information about our implementation)

  • Fixed some desync issues

  • Fixed clients crashing when an Education Center was destroyed

  • Added a Notification system for in-game events

  • Added explosion effects to Multiplayer

  • Fixed shuttle spawns in Multiplayer

  • Fixed an issue where the carrier and shuttles would explode

  • Added ability to rebind hotkeys

  • Fixed some broken UI elements

  • The animated Carrier in the title screen is no longer upside-down
